Together we will work through the journey of living mindfully - to put aside self-doubt or shame, to turn attention to who you truly are and want to be. We will not aim to control, remove, or “fix” unpleasant experiences; but develop skills to work through them. These services can benefit all ages - youth to adults - and do not require any special talent or vocation or spiritual or philosophical viewpoint. They simply require a mind, open to what may arise.

Scientists have now proven that a brain acts like a muscle, the more it is used, the stronger it becomes. Mindfully explore the approach that basic abilities can be advanced, thoughts and approaches can be changed, intelligence and outlook can be developed. Work with me to further develop a growth mindset to embrace challenges, give best efforts, learn from feedback, believe abilities can change with hard work. Be inspired to believe that challenges can help you grow, trying new things is good, there is a “yet” in “I can’t….yet”…not simply “I can’t”. Your health, happiness, and well-being are important - to me and for you to have the capability to be the best version of yourself. When working with me, I make sure to keep your personal needs in mind, starting each class with a quick check-in on how you’re feeling. This can change from class to class - and we, together, will adjust and modify accordingly. No matter the day, I aim to make each class effective, authentic, and FUN, so you will usually get a bit of added “peppery” spunk mixed in with a more traditional approach to yoga.

I also hold special certifications in (and a special place in my heart for) Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Practices and Youth Mental Health First Aid. In addition to other specialty certifications, I mention these specifically because helping those who have experienced trauma feel safe, empowered, and self-regulated is an area in which I have a deep passion.
